Vaporesso XROS 3 Mini Pod Kit Review

XROS 3 compared to XROS 3 MINI

The new XROS 3 pods provide an outstanding MTL vaping experience. If you prefer a loose MTL vape, you may use the XROS 3 MINI right out of the box and enjoy great taste and performance thanks to the supplied 0.6 pod. Because you must relax your lips around the mouthpiece to achieve RDL vaping, I would not recommend this product for RDL vaping.

The XROS 3 MINI resembles the XROS 3 in many ways, but is smaller and more compact. It is a basic pod device that, unlike the XROS 3, lacks customizable airflow, making it easy to use and operate.

If you’re thinking that you can’t recall what the XROS 2 MINI looked like, you’re not insane. This is due to the fact that VAPORESSO has skipped the XROS 2 MINI and instead launched the XROS 3 MINI directly after the original XROS MINI.

In this review, we will discuss the XROS 3 MINI’s design, build quality, performance, and battery life. In addition, I’ll compare the XROS 3 MINI (which is actually the XROS 2 MINI) to the original XROS MINI.

Design & Build Quality

It is maybe a little weird to realize that the pod kit is not particularly small. Vaporesso has just reduced the height of the XROS 3 by around half an inch. Width and depth are comparable, and the construction quality meets our expectations.

We like the gradient and diamond carvings on the device’s front. This pattern produces some extremely beautiful light refractions.

There are two fixed pinhole airflow slots positioned on either side to provide either an MTL or RDL vape.

At the bottom of the battery compartment, a broad LED displays the following charge information:

  • Green – 100% – 70% (high)
  • Blue – 70% – 30% (medium) (medium)
  • Red – 30% – 0% (low)

The LED also indicates a number of battery problems, including short circuits, low resistance, and over-vaping. Also, it will respond when the pod is put or withdrawn.

Finally, The device is charged through the Type-C connection located at the bottom. A complete charge took 55 minutes, consistent with the 1A rating. With this device’s battery life, a charging pace of less than one hour is acceptable in our book.

Pros

  • Light weight and pocket friendly
  • Easy to use top fill system
  • View remaining juice levels
  • Strong securing magnets
  • Large, bright battery status LED
  • Awesome RDL vape using the 0.6ohm pod

Cons

  • Horizontal charging (subjective)
  • MTL vape a touch on the loose side
  • Only one pod included

Final Thoughts

Similar to the LUXE QS, the VAPORESSO XROS 3 is a great MTL and acceptable RDL vaporizer. Advantageously, the airflow is adjustable, allowing it to be a bit looser than the QS. As a result, the RDL here is slightly better, especially considering that the mouthpiece does not become particularly heated.

The coil technology is the star of this show, with the COREX pods providing outstanding taste throughout the coils’ lifespan. VAPORESSO has produced two excellent pod vapes in a row (three if you add the XROS 3 Mini, which uses the same pods), and the secret to their success is their breakthroughs in coil technology, then go with the XROS 3. It’s a great vape.
